The Texas Senior Medicare Patrol is always looking for volunteers.
Become a volunteer and protect fellow Texans against Medicare fraud, error and abuse. The work you provide is vital in saving beneficiaries' money and potentially improving their quality of life.
If you're interested in volunteering, please contact our Coordinator of Volunteers, Cherie Storey, at cstorey@bbbhou.org or call at 713-341-6144
Volunteers who provide administrative support assist our team by assembling TX SMP bags (used for presentations and events.)
Another administrative support role is
scheduling presentations and other outreach activities.
Presenters make 5-to-30-minute presentations using SMP approved materials and scripts to audiences that consist of Medicare beneficiaries, their caregivers, and/or other members of the public who want to gain awareness of the SMP program.
Help accomplish the SMP mission by delivering and disseminating materials to senior residential facilities, senior centers, health care providers, libraries, churches, and etc.
TXSMP exhibitors provide general information about the SMP program by distributing materials and answering
general questions about the SMP program and its services.
If you are interested in joining our volunteer heroes, please fill out the forms below and send them to Cherie Storey at cstorey@bbbhou.org
